Paul

As the lead instructor for Ram Master Training, Paul has a strong desire to see people get better and feel confident in their use of firearms while giving back to the community that gave him so much. 

Paul is a retired LEO in the Omaha area and was in law enforcement for more than 23 years (18 of them in Special Operations). Paul was lucky enough to be part of 1000’s of live operations over the course of his time in special operations. Paul spent 16 years on the departments SWAT Team where he was one of the primary firearms instructors, primary breacher, explosive breacher and sniper team leader for the last few years. As a Firearms Instructor on SWAT, Paul specialized in realistic, real world scenario based, live fire training that most people do not have an opportunity to be exposed to. The live operations shaped how Paul trains and teaches firearms to others. Some of these training ideas are implemented into the training at Ram Master.

Paul has been a state-certified firearms instructor for 16+ years and has taught classes to everyone from new police recruits to SWAT team members. Paul is also an NRA Certified Instructor. Additionally, he’s taught marksmanship & firearms safety to children aged 8-16 for the past 26 years.  And it is these two vastly different groups (SWAT / Children) that has molded how Paul approaches firearms instruction. Everybody may not learn in the same way, as instructors, its our job to find the right approach for you.

Paul will help you become a better shooter, a safe weapons handler, and a more confident firearm owner.

Tim

Instructor Tim is a tall man withs square shoulders with a short receding hairline. Tim is standing with his arms crossed across his chest showing off his large forearm muscles and tattoo sleeve.

In addition to serving his country in the United States Marine Corps, Tim is an active LEO in the Omaha area and has a total of over 27 years in LE. Tim served on his local SWAT Team for over 18 years as a team member, entry team leader, and sniper. Tim was also one of the primary firearms instructors on the SWAT team. Additionally, Tim was the lead instructor for the rifle program for his department where he was responsible for training 100s of officers yearly on patrol rifle operations. Tim has trained 1000s of officers in his decorated career. Tim has a knowledge base that surpasses most instructors and has the ability to transfer that knowledge to a very effective instruction style. 

Tim will make you a better shooter without question.

Cate

Instructor Cate is a thin woman with brown hair and a large professional smile. Cate is wearing a red RAM Master Training polo shirt.

Cate is an active LEO in the Omaha area and has been in law enforcement for more than 29 years. 

She is a state-certified firearms instructor for over 19 years, NRA Instructor and has been involved in providing firearms training to other law enforcement officers, and civilians for almost two decades. 

Cate spent some time on her departments shooting / competition team. And as a former competitive shooter, she has many tips and suggestions to enhance your shooting skills.  Without a doubt, Cate is the most qualified female firearms instructor in the Omaha area. Her background far exceeds her closest competitor.
