SUMMARY:Intro to Long Range Rifle (December 2022)
DESCRIPTION:This class is for students who want to improve their rifle-shooting skills at longer ranges. \nStudents will learn the following (and more): \n\nBasics of Internal\, External\, and Terminal Ballistics\nYour bullet’s Ballistic Coefficient and what it means\nProper rifle setup for maximum accuracy\nScope usage\nBody positioning\, grip\, and trigger manipulation\nCreating D.O.P.E. (Data On Previous Engagement) for your ammo and firearm\nCreating a Range Card for your current setup\n\nLong Range Shooting courses could last as long as a week to properly cover all aspects.  So please keep in mind that this is an introductory course only.  You will learn much\, and leave better for your efforts\, but it is still just the start of your training. \nStudents will shoot approximately 80 rounds of ammunition throughout the 6-8 hour class\, during which instructors will demonstrate individual aspects of the skills taught.  Instructors will work one-on-one with participants to ensure the training provided is both understood and appropriately applied\, while maintaining a safe learning environment. \nStudents must provide their own weapons and ammunition. \nWe have students in every class who have never shot over 100 yards\, and by the end of the day they are hitting steel at 600-700 yards \nEquipment Requirements\n\nFunctioning Rifle with Properly Functioning Scope / Raised Turrets\n80 rounds of quality ammunition\, same gr weight &  manufacturer\nEye and ear protection required\nNotepad and pen\nTechnical  Information about your ammunition\n(muzzle velocity\, grain weight\, Ballistic Coefficient)\n80 rounds of ammunition
